WAITING FOR THE MIRACLE TO COME

Lian Lunson wrote and directed the film, Waiting for the Miracle to Come, starring Willie Nelson, Charlotte Rampling and Sophie Lowe. The film was shot entirely on Willie Nelson’s ranch in Luck, Texas, and was executive produced by Wim Wenders and Bono.

Leonard Cohen I’m Your Man

Lian Lunson wrote and directed a feature film documentary on Leonard Cohen called, “Leonard Cohen I’m Your Man” The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. It played the Berlin Film Festival, Sundance and the Sydney Film Festival.

Lian worked with Kate McGarrigle’s children, Rufus and Martha Wainwright, to bring this tribute to the screen. The film closed the first Sundance London Film Festival and went on to play the Berlin Film Festival and the Sydney Film Festival.

DORTHY ARZNER AWARD

Lian Lunson was awarded the Dorothy Arzner award in 2006 by Women in Film presented to her at the Sundance Film Festival by her mentor, Wim Wenders.
